Chiropractic Scholarship and Service
Dr. Adrienne Kaminskyj knew at the age of 17 that the chiropractic profession was for her. She pursued this goal by completing an undergraduate degree in kinesiology from McMaster University in 2005 followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009.
Further honing her chiropractic skill set, Dr. Kaminskyj has taken numerous courses and specialty training programs to provide her patients with specialized treatment plans designed for their individual problems, goals and needs. She is certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, custom orthotic therapy and medical gradient compression hosiery through The Orthotic Group, and is certified and proficient in the Webster Technique for pregnant mothers.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Kaminskyj co-authored a research paper entitled "Chiropractic Care for Patients with Asthma: A Systematic Review of the Literature" which was published in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association in March 2010. She went on to present this paper at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges - Research Agenda Conference in Las Vegas. Dr. Kaminskyj also regularly volunteers her time with the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College aiding in the admissions interview process and with Health Mission Outreach (HMO), providing care to those who are less fortunate.
